Joanna was driving through the deep dark scary forest. She looked puzzled and drips of water fell from her eyes. She was lost in the forest and her map was so old it was drooping and crumpled up. The pictures on the map were fading into the dark shadows inside the sides of the car. She didn't know where her house was but she drove around in circles and then got an idea. She tried to remember where she had been before she was driving like this. First she remembered she was at the big oak and found the nuts that it led to. She realised her house was close by but there were 2 roads and one of them led to her house.
I LOVE the description in this story. Especially the bit about the shadows on the map. You should add on to it - I really want to know if Joanna finds her way out of the forest!
