Anzac Day soldier

A soldier is standing on his feet shooting people in the trenches. He can see sticky mud stuck to the trench wall and fat worms wriggling in it. He can hear noisy guns firing all around. He can feel little insects biting his wet sweaty skin. He wonders if the war will end soon. He hopes no one else will die.
